Face book breaks barriers

Face book has developed a new application by which the bloggers can post their information from their face book profiles directly to their sites. The new application named type pad publishing system introduced by six apart is a step towards breaking barriers between social networking sites. Let’s hope that this portable issue is also being taken into serious consideration by other sites too.

Adobe has rolled out its new media player version 1.0. The player is available as a free download. It is a cross platform application and is based on Adobe integrated runtime platform. This new application will give adobe a foot hold in the online video space too. The player is customizable both online and also offline. It also offers new ways for its users to locate and interact with their preferred content

Flickr for video sharing


Yahoo has also rolled out a video sharing in its Flickr application. Accordingly users of Flickr can now send and receive small size videos. This move is not to compete with other video sharing services provided by google and others rather just a way through which its users could share video files. The limit for video sharing is around 150 MB or 90 minnutes.

Adobe hopes that its CinemaDNG will become the standard bearer in digital movie making. The standard is all set to help out film makers by providing across the board standard for RAW image files. The format will help to decrease traffic and make the workflow easier. The move also has a good support from big names in camera manufacturing.

Fans fight it out for XP

Microsofts plan to remove Windows XP from the shelf and also slowly withdraw its technical support for the XP has got a uprise from the fans. They see no reason as to why they should move from Xp to Vista. Moreover system administrator feels that Vista's incompatability with certain softwares will widely hurt their performance. The study reveals that users are lazy to note down their passwords and hence don’t use different passwords. Another survey reveals that personnel carelessness is the main reason for passwords thefts accounting for 88% of the total thefts. So, guys just be careful don’t under estimate hackers.

Google has released its new Google earth version 4.3. This version gives a lot more of home feel. Staggering stats on Web viewing

Viewing videos online are becoming a craze and is spreading like an wild fire. If you don’t believe me just look at the stats below it will leave you open mouthed.
Increase in viewer ship in one year shot up by 66 percent in February over
Over 10 billion clips were watched by browsers watched in February alone
Google’s video related sites topped the charts with 3.5 billion videos viewed.
Followed by Fox Interactive Media with 586 million videos.
Yahoo and Microsoft had 293.12 million and 293.08 videos watched respectively.
